Saturn New Moon; What is your Rising Sign?

Hey there,

are you ready for this?

A rebirth energy that cultivates an intensity, a depth, a desire to hold meaningful passionate exchanges with self. This may not be easy, as we may be forced to change many things. Our relationship with self can be emotionally binding and hard to maneuver. Take this time to step away from the norm or mindset as everything is now spinning and revolving.

Take this time to practice self-kindness as we steer deep and rough waters, keeping our flow, yet anchored with one foot on the ground.

With a primary focus on the “self” and tying in the Scorpio new moon, I want to tap into the Ascendent or Rising sign of the astrological chart. This is the zodiac sign that was rising on the eastern horizon the moment of our birth. A reality check. This sign and house placement governs our identity, and how we vibe and energetically show up in the world. It highlights our presence and confidence, and planet placement or transits can affect, shape or change these life areas. We are shown if we so choose, to look into our growth of self-awareness, cultivating a deeper sense to effectively present ourselves while channeling this inner confidence.

To build a better understanding, I would like to share my Ascendant (ASC) or Rising Sign placement and how I would embrace the new moon in Scorpio energy.

My Ascendent or Rising sign follows the traditional wheel of twelve signs and houses with mine in the sign of Aries. A fire sign, bold and dynamic, having a strong sense of self.

Notably so.

Possessing natural leadership skills and a courageous outlook on life.

Absolutely.

The planet Mars rules Aries, and traditionally Scorpio, and is a masculine energy of independence, strong survival skills, courage and decisiveness.

I don’t have any planets in my first house of Aries, and if I did, these planet(s) could influence the energy of this house, as well as other aspects from other planets, houses or angles. This new moon is transiting Scorpio in my 8th house (traditional house system) at 12 degrees which brings a double dip of intensity, depth, and emotional scope. And in aspect, it is quincunx or inconjunct (150 degrees counterclockwise) on the astrology wheel to my ASC at 9 degrees Aries. An inconjunction with my Ascendent is over-emphasized and steers my direct attention to look into how I can balance this intense energy.

Scorpio depth with Aries initiative.

I should dive deep into my emotional intricacies with careful reflection. Confronting feelings that I may have purposefully ignored or missed, tuning into subtle things that may have gone unnoticed. I am asked to feel these emotions without sudden reaction, and am invited to patiently wait for them to surface and then act in a more intensive way.

As I adjust and adapt through this spiritual journey, I can grow through my vulnerability, exploring my emotions to seek hidden power and resilience. Seeking my balance on when to act or take heed and reflect. This transit can give me respect for my new emotional strength and sensitivity, and nourish my path to new encounters with wisdom and understanding.

As a collective, below are some activities to harness our new moon energy in Scorpio:

Scorpio rules transformation, and the New Moon is our clean slate.

♏ We are asked to write two letters; the first to the version of ourself that we want to let go of. What limiting beliefs, fears or identities no longer define or serve us?

♏ On a new page, write the version we are becoming. Dig deep into the energy of rebirth. Who am I now? What am I ready to rise into?

Once done, burn both letters safely in a fire proof dish. Let the smoke take away the old and open space for the new to rise.

I have been journaling lately, and love the release of words and thoughts from my mind put onto paper. A couple of prompts to get us started and to call in what we want to release or obtain.

🌚 What parts of myself have I been avoiding and why? How can I be more authentic?

🌚 Where do I carry my emotional past hurt that needs to be released? What support do I seek to be able to do this safely?

In gratitude, much love & light,

Crystal 🤍
